SPIK SZMA has more than 40 years of experience in providing automation services to the pulp-and-paper industry. The scope of work includes automation system installation supervision and Start-up & Commissioning (S&C) for almost all pulp & paper production processes.

During the time of intense pulp-and-paper factories (re)construction (1965-1985) SPIK SZMA provided S&C of control systems for most plants within North-Western Russia, Belarus Republic and Baltic States. SPIK SZMA’s specialists are experienced in control system project design for process and heat power plants, including working as a member of the equipment suppliers’ project team.

As to project design, complete delivery and implementation of Pulp & Paper control systems, SPIK SZMA has a long-term experience of cooperation with leading Russian and international companies: GIPROBUM (Russia), Harris Group International (Saint-Petersburg, Russia), VNP OBUMPROM (Russia), Metso Automation (Finland), Measurex (USA), Akkurey (Finland), Ahlstrom (Finland), Beloit (USA), Toshiba (Japan), Siemens (Germany), etc.
