Project Description:
Development of an industrial LAN to integrate communications between the following control systems:
- Automated oil and fuel oil loading station
- Crude oil tank farm
- Fuel oil tank farm
Process objects:
- Tank farms
- Oil and fuel oil pumping stations (pumps with frequency controlled electric drive)
- Inter-shop communications
- Automated oil and fuel oil loading station equipment (valves, gate valves, electric drives for loading device, etc.)
Control & Information System: SIEMENS AG PLC - SIMATIC S7-300, S7-400,
Operator workstations:
Dell PCs and INTELLUTION software iFIX Dynamics HMI (USA)
Functionality:
- Process monitoring & control
- Automated data base generation for oil and fuel oil loading metering
(quantity and types of loaded oil products, numbers and types of tank-wagons, etc.)
- Data transmission to the enterprise loading metering system via the control system network
