December 26, 2005 Project design of automated monitoring and control system for Kirishi Oil Refinery’s Shop 13 Blower Station #16 Waste Water Treatment Utilities was completed and delivered. The project solution is based on integrated Toshiba V-series 2000 controllers.

December 20, 2005 The project design of "System hardware and software for data exchange between the oil quantity and quality measuring system of "Baltnefteprovod" and Kirishi Oil Refinery" was completed and delivered.

December 15, 2005 The project of the First Russian Assembling facility for TOSHIBA custom drives and control systems was presented at the seminar "Toshiba Social Infrastructure" hold for 130th anniversary of Toshiba Corporation. The seminar was hold on December 9th, 2005 in Moscow at Radisson SAS Slavanskaya Hotel. The President of Toshiba International Corporation presented the new TOSMA project in Russia realized together with TIC's Russian partner - JSC SPIK SZMA (Saint-Petersburg).

December 9, 2005 The contract with LLC "Lengiproneftechim" for the retrofit design project of the Kirishi Oil Refiney’s Utilities Pumping Blower Station # 17 automated Metering Station was concluded.

November 28, 2005 Project design for the partial retrofit of the Air Compressor Station control system of shop #14 of Kirishi Oil Refinery was completed and delivered to the Customer. Control system is implemented based on a redundant Toshiba V-2000 controller.

November 21, 2005 The first (preliminary) stage of certification procedure of the software SC ASLS SZMA is completed. The provided documentation for software certification was approved by the “Center for software expertise” of the Russian Scientific Center “Kurchatovsky Institute”.

November 21, 2005 Prof. Mozhaev A.S., Master of Tech. Sc., made a report 'Comparative analysis of the failure tree technique with automated structural logic simulation technique used for safety probabilistic assessment of the designed control systems' at the workshop "Software for technical risk analysis" (Scientific Research Center "Industrial Safety", Moscow).

November 16, 2005 A project design for partial retrofit of the metering station process equipment of the nitrogen-oxygen plant for the shop #14 of Kirishi Oil Refinery was completed and delivered.

November 14, 2005 Toshiba Corporation will host its first seminar in Russia "Toshiba Social Infrastructure”. SPIK SZMA’s experts will take part in the seminar by delivering a presentation. The seminar will be hold on December 9, 2005 in Moscow, at the Hotel Radisson SAS Slavanskaya.

November 3, 2005 A contract for “Process Automation” part project designing of the car assembling plant constructed in Saint-Petersburg was concluded with OOO “Project-Technology”.

September 29, 2005 SPIK SZMA signed a contract for supply of a DELTA-C network version to the Kirishi Power Plant. Software for automated measuring instruments accounting for the enterprise metrological service DELTA-C will be adopted for the heat-and-power objects purposes.

September 26, 2005 SPIK SZMA signed a contract with Siemens AB for PCS7 configuring for power plant automation.

September 19, 2005 SPIK SZMA personnel - Mr. Gumenik V., Mr. Salnikov P., and Mr. Starikov V. were trained at Toshiba International Corporation. Their high level of qualification is confirmed by their certification for SCD Drive Assembling and Testing.

September 12, 2005 The Company completed the first Toshiba invertors delivery (200-550kW). Inverter assembly by SPIK SZMA licensed by Toshiba is scheduled for 2006. The main components will be supplied by Toshiba (USA).

September 9, 2005 A contract for project design of the electrical part of compressor units control system of the plant E-200 of JSC Kazanorgsynthesis was concluded.

July 1, 2005 Toshiba International Corporation President - Mr. Ryuichi Nakata, Vice-President - Mr. Michael Ayers, Automation Project Manager - Mr. George Orchard, Director of Toshiba representative office in Russia - Mr. Mitsuya Maki and SPIK SZMA General Director - Mr. Nozik visited Saint-Petersburg State Technological Institute. During the meeting with direction of Saint-Petersburg State Technological Institute the representatives of Toshiba International Corporation handed over as a present a control system set for the laboratory of Energy Saving Technology Department. The same day the management of Toshiba International Corporation and SPIK SZMA visited Kirishi Oil Refinery, got to know the facility automation level, examples of Toshiba control system implementation and met the facility personnel.

June 30, 2005 The meeting of Toshiba International Corporation, Schlumberger and SPIK SZMA representatives took place in the Copmpany's office.

June 7, 2005 SPIK SZMA’s SC ASLS SZMA software application was considered for certification at the meeting of the Committee for Software certification of the Research Center for nuclear and radiation safety of RF Rostechnadzor. The resolution on admission of the software application for the certification procedure was taken and experts were assigned.

May 25, 2005 A contract for project design documentation development under the third stage of DCS and Instrumentation retrofit for the Gas Fractionating Plant at Kirishi Oil Refinery was concluded.

May 25, 2005 JSC SPIK SZMA offers for distribution a new software application: Software for automated measuring instruments accounting for the enterprise metrological service DELTA-C. DELTA-C available for purchase – June 1, 2005.

May 25, 2005 SPIK SZMA - Toshiba inverter assembly faculty reconstruction. The civil works have begun and are performed by IFC Vodocanalstroy. Completion is scheduled for the 1 quarter 2006.

May 17, 2005 The contract for a process control system expansion of the light products merging tank of the shop #3 at Kirishi Oil Refinery was completed and delivered.

May 12, 2005 A contract for project design of a process control system retrofit for the biological sewage treatment plant of the shop #13 at Kirishi Oil Refinery was signed.

April 28, 2005 The contract for the project design of a Partial replacement of control system and instrumentation of black products tank farm at Kirishi Oil Refinery was signed.

April 27, 2005 Project design of the process control system for the plant LG-24/7 of the shop # 4 at Kirishi Oil Refinery was completed and delivered.

April 22, 2005 SPIK SZMA signed a contract with Temp-Project Ltd. for the reconstruction project design development for the electrical equipment and control systems assembling facility.

April 18, 2005, SPIK SZMA signed a contract with Siemens AG for PCS7 project design, configuring and implementation for two compressors at JSC Mozyr Oil Refinery.

March 29, 2005 The project for technical re-equipment of process control system of the Heating Center #1 of the shop #14 at Kirishi Oil Refinery was completed and delivered.

February 16, 2005 Within the framework of the republican research seminar on ‘Explosion prevention at industrial objects. New normative requirements, up-to-date solutions’ (Minsk, Russia) the report on ‘Quantitative evaluation of reliability and safety measures for large-scale automated control systems, safety systems, and emergency shut-down systems at design stage’ was given by SPIK SZMA’s specialist Doctor of Science, Mozhaev A.S.

January 25, 2005 Project design of the “Partial replacement of process control and instrumentation equipment of the plant LAB-LABS” of the shop #50 of Kirishi Oil Refinery was completed and delivered.
