Assembly Facility TOSMA (St.Petersburg)

SPIK SZMA in partnership with Toshiba International Corporation (TIC) launched the project of the first Russian assembling facility.

Toshiba International Corporation (TIC), located in Houston,TX, is the Industrial Division of Toshiba.

TIC (USA) is Division of TOSHIBA Corporation Industrial and Power Systems & Services Company (IPS). TIC is a leading Company for research, development and manufacturing of industrial and power systems; and manages IPS international activities.

The joint project for the TOSMA assembly facility was started in May, 2005.

The facility preparation is scheduled to be completed by 1st Qtr 2006.

Reduction of cost to the customer through localization of TOSHIBA power products;
Application of Russian engineering intellectual capital for the manufacturing of high quality localized products;
